Did you know that Sprouts are the start of something that would become a vegetable if it was allowed to grow? The most important nutrients for the vegetable / sprouts are in the seed. The sprout therefore has a far greater concentration of nutrients compared to a fully grown vegetable.

Quality and seed type greatly affect the yield of the nutrient values in the sprouts. We only use organic seeds of the highest quality to ensure the highest and best values every time. The seeds are checked and disinfected before production.
FROM SPRING TO POWDER
Sprouts have large amounts of vitamins and minerals in relation to size. In broccoli sprouts, the concentration of sulforaphane is about 20-50 times higher than in adult broccoli. The production of broccoli sprout powder gives particularly high values of the nutrient sulforaphane, which proves to be a “miracle substance” for several lifestyle diseases and other diagnoses.
OWN PRODUCTION PROCESS
Pure Food Norway (PFN) has developed its own production process, a new technology for freeze-drying. This technology retains and safeguards the nutrient content and the important active ingredients in the sprouts. This gives us the opportunity to produce a broccoli sprout powder with very high values of sulforaphane, with a long shelf life. This process can also be adopted on all of the microgreens.
Production takes place indoors and under controllable conditions. Sprouts and Microgreens are harvested after a few days. Large quantities can be produced without seizing agricultural land. No pollution, and controllable quality routines make production extra sustainable and competitive when the food of the future is on the table.
